Inauguration Preparation

I went to Washington, D.C.,  Jan. 11-13 and headed down to the National Mall to check out the inauguration set-up. The day I arrived, I had just missed the inauguration “dress rehearsal” complete with fill-ins for President-Elect Obama’s daughters. Though I missed that, I was still able to see the “sights”, including the largest concentration of porta-a-potties I think I have ever seen. Lets just say I don’t think I’d want to be porta-a-pottie worker on Jan. 21 in Washington, D.C. Enjoy the photos! The next time you’ll likely see a picture or video of the Mall, every inch will probably be covered with those brave enough to bear the cold and crowds on Inauguration Day.
